This small green house is the home of the holocaust exposition of the Vilnius Jewish Museum. It grimly details the fate of Vilna, the Yiddish name for Vilnius, known as the "Jerusalem of the north" for it's rich Jewish culture. The willing participation of Lithuanian officials, police, and other Nazi collaborators in the early stages of this murderous period is grimly presented, along with diaries and other personal stories of the victims. This large Jewish community was annihilated.
